Seniors Winter Baseball Tournament Announced

The Malta Baseball & Softball Association has announced the dates for the annual Seniors Winter Baseball Tournament. This year’s tournament will feature reigning National Champions Mellieha Northenders together with the 2 other teams based in Malta Gzira Mustangs and Zabbar Devils.

All games will be played at the Marsa Baseball Field on Tuesday the 8th and Saturday the 12th of December 2009.
 

Winter Tournament Fixtues:
 

8th December

10:00 – Gzira Mustangs vs Zabbar Devils

11:30 – Mellieha Northenders vs Gzira Mustangs

13:00 – Zabbar Devils vs Mellieha Northenders 
 

12th December

12:00 – Zabbar Devils vs Gzira Mustangs

13:30 – Mellieha Northenders vs Zabbar Devils

15:00 – Gzira Mustangs vs Mellieha Northenders 
 

This will be a good opportunity for teammanagers to set and fine tune their respective tactics as teams normally use the tournament as pre season warm-up prior to the start of the 2010 National League Championships which will start in February.
